I've learned marketing on the job over the last 15 years while serving nonprofits and local government. Now, I am using my education as a catalyst to dive into best practices and most efficient techniques in marketing products and services.

My educational background in
psychology and studio art has provided a unique perspective on seeing campaigns through to success – whether that means writing a large grant, producing a promotional video, or growing a brand on social media. I see multiple solutions to one challenge, and use my creativity as an asset for small businesses that seek energy from bringing people together to see success.

Having navigated the "multiple irons in the fire" mode-of-operating for several years in nonprofits, I am comfortable in pressing objectives forward that have many moving parts. As a recent MBA graduate (go Arizona Wildcats!), my professional and educational journey has bolstered my confidence in leading by doing what I know best: tackling the hard tasks first and delivering on time – all with a realistic consideration for a team's capacity and motivations.

In the last two years alone, I've been the chief communicator for the merger of two schools in the Valley, raised over $2M in funds for my current employer, completed my MBA as a full-time student, and navigated a personal health challenge in the process of growing my family - all while working full time as a Marketer in a one-woman department.
