DEVELOPMENT/DONOR RELATIONS COORDINATOR, Artists Repertory Theatre, Portland, Oregon
Enhanced donor relationships and philanthropic support for an inter-city community theater throughout the 2015-2016 season.
· Copywriter for fundraising solicitations and donor stewardship collateral.
· Analyzed donor conversion data for subsequent fundraising campaign segmentation. Report upon monthly and year-to-date department budgeting, gift processing, and donor engagement.
· Manage volunteers, vendors and logistics for all donor events, 6 times per year, each up to 300 attendees.
· Collaborate with Marketing team for graphically designed seasonal performance information, including digital marketing campaigns, social media and event collateral.
· Conducted preliminary research on prospective corporate, foundation, and individual donors.
The 2015-2016 season was a pivotal time for Artists Repertory Theater. In fundraising for the organization, providing support for the theater's largest production to date was a critical part of the season. Actors, musicians, choreographers, and other artistic professionals arrived from all over the country for eight weeks during the run of show.
The financial support to make the production possible was the most intensive in the history of the theater. My role was to support revenue and operations by managing logistics for donor events, increase annual giving opportunities, and provide value to patrons who engaged with the theater during the 2015-2016 season.
